Oktober 2000 um 15:40 in Manhatten, nähe Centralpark gemacht habe. der titel bezieht sich auf das free-jazz-album von Ornette Coleman "New York is Now! Vol.1" (1966). der verständliche teil des passantengesprächs lautet "... can they change the lights? No! Well, they probably want the lights to...". die hier vorliegende version wurde mit dem empty rooms-programm erstellt.

 

 
  New York is Now [12 October 2000] is based on an audio recording I made on 12 October 2000 at 3.40 p.m. in Manhattan, near Central Park. the title is taken from the free-jazz-album by Ornette Coleman "New York is Now! Vol.1" (1966). understandable words of the passers-by: "... can they change the lights? No! Well, they probably want the lights to...". This version was created using the Empty Rooms programme.
